Our History

5 Star Recon is a Colorado-owned and operated mobile automotive paint repair company.  Founded in 2015, we initially only serviced major car dealerships.  The general public was largely unaware that we existed but those we did come in contact with, would comment that they wished our services were available to them.  As interest grew, an idea was born to provide the residential consumer with a convenient, affordable, and high quality alternative to traditional body shops.  We specialize in non-collision paint repairs of bumpers, doors, and panels, along with key scratch repairs, paint touch up, and headlight restoration.

What Sets Us Apart

  • We save you time!  Using our free online estimate form, you don’t have to drive all over town getting quotes from body shops.  Since your vehicle will not be at a body shop, it won’t be out of commission for days.
  • We save you money!  Our prices are typically 30-70% lower than standard body shop prices, making our service unbeatably affordable.
  • We come to you!  We are the most convenient choice because we come directly to your home or office.  Once onsite, we quickly recondition your vehicle with high quality products.
  • We restore your vehicle’s appearance and value!  Whether you plan to trade-in, return your lease, or just enhance your personal image, 5 Star Recon can help restore the resale value of your vehicle.
  • We stand behind our work!  Our skilled, knowledgeable and meticulous work ethic along with our worry-free workmanship warranty ensures that every job we do is treated like it is the most important job we do.

"5 Star Recon came through for me when I needed it.  I had an accident that resulted in some extensive paint damage on my car.  Because I use my car to meet clients, I couldn’t be without it and needed it to look professional. Darren was able to squeeze me in and took great care of my car. I really appreciate that he was able to quickly make the repairs and touch ups so that my car looked great. I will always use 5 Star Recon!"

"We have worked with Darren at 5 Star Recon several times and each time was a great experience. He has explained the work he's is going to do and has been able to get the product back earlier than expected.  He's easy to work with and will always paint the parts we need."
